I'm off on an Alpha weekend tomorrow which should be great. Had an awesome time with Chris Brown yesterday, things are looking good for us working together in the festival and bringing together the people in the city and missionaries from outside. Had a great time with Tom and Ruth praying for the city. The idea of fallowness - that is time to recover and be refilled with all the good things we need for growth really hit home, as did the fact that this country really need drizzle, not heavy rain in order for water levels to rise... kind of what we were feeling the Spirit is wanting to do with us... soak us gently but deeply. The last paragraph of Psalm 139 (look it up) jumped out at me at House group on Wed, God knows and can make things ok when we get anxious.
