Ceilidh me softly...

I went to a wedding dance yesterday and a lot of fun it was too. Lots of old friends coming together to celebrate our friend getting married. And very beautiful she looked too. Ceilidh's (Scottish country dances) have the potential to be amazing. Of course they have the potential to be very stuffy, traditional affairs but in the hands of the young and the passionate they can become something of a cross between a more sociable version of clubbing and a mosh pit. Very punk rock. Its amazing to throw yourself around for a few hours with some of your oldest and dearest friends to some kicking tunes all in the name of love.
